Thursday, 5th September, Sporting Stories with OB Karl Dickson (York, 00), Former scrum-half Karl will speak about his career and a few tales along the way. A graduate of the Blues Academy, he spent five years at Goldington Road, making 107 appearances and scoring 33 tries. Most notably, he was part of the victorious 2005 Powergen Shield side at Twickenham. A move to Harlequins in 2009 saw wins in the Premiership in 2012 as part of 171 appearances at Twickenham Stoop. Upon retirement, Karl took up the whistle and has officiated at the highest level, including refereeing in the Premiership, Six Nations and Rugby World Cup.
