Sadly, Revd John Moore, known to many of you from your time here, passed away peacefully yesterday morning. His son Peter has asked us to let you know that all funeral arrangements will be shared in due course. Having arrived at Barnard Castle School as a chaplain in 1973, combining his teaching training with his role in the Church, serving as Head of RE and a housemaster, Revd Moore offered pastoral support to many pupils, always making himself available to our wider community. Everyone in the Barney community sends our sincere condolences and much love to all the family.
