A few of our OBs—Gary Brown (North '53), David Absalom (North '58), Derek Watson (Durham '69), and Peter Hodges (York '72) had the pleasure of attending a talk by Stephen Livingstone on Bentley Beetham at Rheged in Penrith. Gary was taught by Bentley and he climbed with him as a member of the Goldsborough Club at School, he even continued to climb with Bentley after he retired in 1949. 

The School received several mentions, with many photos showcasing it in the 1920s. It was wonderful to see so many OBs in attendance, reconnecting with history and shared experiences!
