History was made at the Bristol Bears vs Exeter Chiefs derby on Saturday where the decision was made for referees to go 'on mic'. OB Karl Dickson (York '00) was a part of this when he had the whistle for the Saturday kick-off, it didn't take him long to rule that a tackle had been high and dangerous which for the first time ever was broadcast on the PA system to the audience.
