OB Jamie Adamson named on the bench to face British and Irish Lions!

OB Jamie Adamson (Durham '18) is named on the bench for the NSW Waratahs as they prepare to face the British and Irish Lions in Sydney this Saturday, 5th July!

Jamie's rugby story is one of lifelong dedication and leadership: 

Started at age 4 with Durham City minis/juniors 

Joined Barney Prep in Year 4, captaining the school team every season 

Developed further through Newcastle Falcons Academy, England Academy, and representative rugby (County, Tri-counties) 

Excelled at Durham University (Super BUCS champions), represented England & GB in 7s at World Series, World Cup, and Commonwealth Games 

Won the Eastern Suburbs Shute Shield 

Jamies father Gary Adamson says Jamie proudly displays his earliest honour which is his Barney No. 7 shirt in his bedroom, alongside brother Sam's No. 6; they played back row together for Barney 1st team 

These formative years at Barney and Durham City didn't just teach Jamie how to play they fuelled his ambition to go pro. Everyone at Barnard Castle School and the wider OB Community!
